Trusts Lawyers / Estate Lawyers

Trusts lawyers and estate lawyers are also sometimes referred to collectively as trusts and estates lawyers.  Generally speaking, trusts and estates lawyers help people make arrangements for what they want to be done with their property or affairs in case they become deceased or unable to make decisions for themselves.  Trusts and estates lawyers may help clients with wills, inheritance, estate and gift taxes, health care proxies, disability planning, educational trusts or accounts for children, guardians for minor children, charitable donations, business planning or succession, or other things.  Some trusts and estates lawyers represent clients in legal proceedings like mediations or probate court.
