Real Estate Lawyers

Real estate lawyers are also sometimes referred to as property lawyers, housing lawyers, landlord-tenant lawyers, or construction lawyers. Generally speaking, real estate lawyers deal with things that involve the transfer, sale, development, or use of land; the construction of homes, apartments, or commercial buildings like offices and hotels; and/or the business of operating a residential or commercial property. Some real estate lawyers help clients with leases and subleases, title searches, foreclosures, evictions, and other similar things. Other real estate lawyers may help clients with zoning, community development boards, issues involving contractors or subcontractors, and the like.
